We get a lot of great comments on our skis and don't usually like to publish them. But once in a while we receive emails where our custormers are really touched when they unwrap the skis and have them in their hands. They can see and feel the quallity and craftmenship in the product. This is what building our skis is all about.
Bob- got the skis they look great and looking good in my office. Please note the story Peter posted about Lightning boards in todays daily news at www.skipressworld.com- more than 20,000 skiers will see this over the next few days. He also wrote something in our third issue
. So keep an eye out for it. Have a great winter!

Bob, I got the skis. They look great.
Thanks, Sean
Thanks Bob!
I recieved the skis shortly after you sent them. I am impressed at your business. I wish you the best of luck. Have a great season! I know I will.
Ade,
Bob,
received the skis today. They look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps I could convince you to build a pair of 18th century style skis for me at somepoint.
Thanks.
Chris
Bob,
Simply awesome.
I opened the long skinny package as soon as I got home and was blown away
by what I saw inside. I could hardly bring myself to take off the
wrapping they looked so good. Like they might not be so clean and clear
and rich without it.
But of course they are. Just beautiful and alive. Wow, what lines and
grain. Excellent to handle. Smooth, balanced, and clean. Fine and
NATURAL.
I am immensely impressed.
My next door neighbor was taken, too. He wants a pair. We agreed that
our mutual friend Howard who runs the historic Ostrander Hut in the
Yosemite backcountry and who is a great ambassador for skiing should have
a pair. I'm thinking that these will create quite a buzz. I'm heading to
Lassen National Park this weekend for the first backcountry patrollers
meeting and training session. There's not much snow but we might look at
skis anyway.
I wish I knew exactly what binding to put on them. I'm thinking maybe a
Telebulldog from 22 Designs. It's a three-pin binding without cables, but
meant to be high performance. I'd love to dress up in my leathers and
woolies but I don't want to cast these as trivially retro. I really want
to ski them and determine that they are satisfying to ski. It's just that
there is nothing I've seen that is anything like these. For right now I'm
really hooked on the beauty of these skis.
Just amazing. I'll give you a call tomorrow to discuss.
Thank you so much.

> Hey Bob, I received the skis today.....they're beautiful!! And lighterweight than I thought. They'll be great for backcountry fun. I'll hopefully be skiing when I return from the east coast in a few weeks (If we ever get any snow here!). I'll give you a review after I've had them out on the slopes a few times. thanks Gary > >

They look great, I am impressed, can't wait to get bindings mounted on them and try them out, taking them around to some friends to show them off tonight and will be visiting a guy who runs a ski shop here in Christchurch to show them to him. I'll send you some photos after I have had some bindings mounted. They have a great amount of camber. Can the edges be filed or should they be ground when I need to service the skis? I will be in Queenstown in mid September and have friends that own Southern Lakes Heliski, one of them is 6ft 3in, so he should be an ideal candidate for trying them out. I am thinking that I might be able to get some pictures and statements from him and forward them to you to see if you can generate a story in US magazines for both you and them. I would imagine that I could wholesale them for NZ$550/pair, which could be cheaper depending on freight and the 12.5% sales tax, which is on both the costs of skis and freight.
Anyway, Thanks Bob

Hi Bob, I just thought I'd let you know the Lunar Landers arrived today. Very cool, very nice! I used to laminate hardwood veneer to the top of my telemark skis and pound bumps all day. 20 years later I finally have a real pair of woodies. I will let you know how I find them this winter.

My skis are already here. In fact, the DHL guy said he
came by yesterday! I ordered them on Tuesday and they
were here in one day. Unbelievable service and they
look great! Many thanks. I'll email you once I try
them!

Bob,
I took my Eight Ks up to Mt. Baker, Washington to get my Look Ti PX12 bindings mounted on them.
I also did some skiing of course on my old Dynastars.
They look beautiful.
I am going to take them back up next week after Christmas and ski on them.
I think you will be getting a couple of orders from the employees up there as they were very impressed.
When I emailed them in advance of going up there they were excited because they had heard about your skis.
Then when they saw them they were oogling.
Then after doing the mounting process and waxing with some new SOY wax they were even more impressed.
I will send you an email after I get a chance to ski on them.
Cheers.
Jim S.
Hey I was wondering if the extreme xxx could be made in a 186 to 189 range, because I would be interested in that ski if it came in a longer length. Cool boards though, I saw a pair up at bridger bowl the other day.
