Brand New Wooden Skis built using straight grain heartwood ash. Solid wood. Not Laminated! Built by craftsmen with modern tools. Tops finished with 3 coats of spar urethane for a gorgeous look and durability. Bottom edges of Polycarbonate and DuraSurf sintered bases. Dimensions similar to the World Piste, Pocket Rocket, Sweet Daddy, Sugar Daddy, The 8000, BD Mystic and other popular down hill and Nordic skis. Nordic or alpine bindings can be mounted. Wooden skis have 80% more torsional stiffness than a traditional wood core / fiberglass constructed ski. That means power, performance, a smooth stable ride and an amazing edge grip. Sweet in powder, soft snow, resorts and the back country. Different lengths and models in stock. Skis bases are professionally ground using a Swiss built Montana Base Grinder and ready to wax for the snow condition of the day.
