Brand New Wooden Skis built using straight grain heartwood ash. Solid wood not laminated! Built by craftsmen with modern tools. Tops finished with 3 coats of spar urethane for a gorgeous look and durability. Dimensions similar to the World Piste, Pocket Rocket, Sweet Daddy, Sugar Daddy, The 8000, BD Mystic and other popular down hill and Nordic skis. Bottoms have Polycarbonate edges and DuraSurf sintered bases, which means fewer gouges and better wax absorption, make these skis truly extraordinary. Nordic or alpine bindings can be mounted. Unlike plywood or foam-core skis, ash is considerably more elastic, ensuring perfect interaction between bending curve and torsion behavior. Wooden skis have 80% more torsion stiffness than a traditional wood core / fiberglass constructed ski. That means power, performance, a smooth stable ride and an amazing edge grip. Sweet in powder, soft snow, resorts and the backcountry. Different lengths and models in stock. Skis bases are professionally ground using a Swiss built Montana Base Grinder and ready to wax for the snow condition of the day.
